Wink Igloo reading center

My son and i made an igloo out of milk jugs. All you just do is layer them on top in a circle. Make sure to leave an opening at the bottom so they can crawl in and out. Also, keep milk jug lids it helps them to be stronger. Next, you just hot glue them together. What helps to measure the opening is to use a yard stick. It also helps keep the milk jugs together.

Red face

My kids (quite some years ago... they are now 10 and 11) did this project in their kindergarten classes. They really enjoyed it... their teacher had all the kids in the class bring water jugs... not milk jugs...(because they are more square) and they built one that was large enough to fit 6 kids at a time in it.
