Lightbulb Haloween Crafts (lots and very easy)

Bat and Spider Cups

Great for drinks or to hold those ghoulish goodies!!!
Adult supervision is recommended with the use of a hot glue gun.

This project is rated VERY EASY to do.

What You Need:

Black chenille stems (4 for each spider cup)
Craft glue or hot glue gun
Purple paper cups
Black poster board (for bat wings)
Small wiggle eyes
Ruler, optional (only if you need to measure)

How To Make It

Cut four pipe cleaners in half to make eight spider legs.
Fold one end of each pipe cleaner up 1/4 inch.
Glue the folded part to the side of the cup, putting four legs on each side. Bend legs into a spider pose.
Cut two bat wings from black poster board.
Bend the ends and glue one on each side of a cup.
Glue eyes on each cup. Let dry.
Serve drinks or treats in the cups.
Have fun!

Boo-ti-ful Bushes

I was driving through the neighborhood when I spotted this at someone's house. I quickly turned the van around and stopped to compliment the lady on her creation. She said that it was a project that her children had helped on. She consented for me to take a picture and post it on the Craft Exchange.

This project is rated VERY EASY to do.

What You Need:

White bed sheet (size appropriate to cover your bush)
Black craft paint (or fabric paint)
Paint brush
Clothes pins

How To Make It

Lay the sheet out flat over some old newspapers.
Paint the face of the ghost on the lower half of the sheet. Let dry.
Lay the sheet over the bush and use clothes pins to gather the sheet behind the bush and hold it on to the bush.

Candy Corn Pin or Magnet

This can be cut from craft foam or construction paper and glued onto cardboard. You can make it as a pin to wear or a magnet for your refrigerator. Remember to always keep magnets away from computers.

This project is rated AVERAGE to do.

What You Need:

Orange craft foam
White craft foam
Yellow craft foam
Tacky glue
Hole punches in 3 different sizes or circular items to trace around
Magnet or jewelry pin back

How To Make It:

Hole punch shapes in 3 different sizes on paper to use as templates. If using circular items, trace them on paper and cut out. (See photo to see difference in sizes)
Trace the smallest circle on white craft foam and cut out.
Trace the middle circle on yellow craft foam and cut out.
Trace the largest circle on orange craft foam and cut out.
Glue together. (see photo)
Let dry.
Cut the circles straight across in 4 or 8 pieces as you would a pizza.
Round the edges to look like candy corn. (see photo)
Glue a magnet or jewelry pin back to the back of the candy corn.
Let dry.
Display on your refrigerator or wear!
