Default Price Matching At Walmart saves big bucks

i love shopping at walmart, especially since they will match competitor sale adds. you simply make your weekly grocery list from your local sale adds and take them to walmart and do your shopping there. as you fill your shopping cart sort the regular priced items at the front of the cart and put the "price match" items at the back of the cart. when you get to the checkout, tell the cashier "i have price matching". unload your basket w/ the regular items first and make a space and put the sale items up last. this gives you time to unload your cart w/ out worrying about the price match. when the cashier gets to the price matched items tell them the name of the store and the price. carry your adds with you just in case they want to see them. walmart will match a store up to 50 miles from them. they will not match another walmart or sams club. if the sale item is store brand or generic they will match the sams choice or great value for it. this takes practice but it saves me a ton of money at the store... the plus is that you can use manufacturer coupons on top of the price match. good luck!

Default Wally World

Walmart is great about price matching! And they are always so good about returns. Our town just switched to a Super Walmart and it's great not to have to drag the kids to 2 different stores for shopping.

Smile Price matching and photos!

I love the price matching too! I take all my ads from everywhere. Did you know that they will match their store brand for the other store's brand? Say Kroger has a sale on their store brand of yogurt. You can take the ad to Walmart and they will ad match it to Walmart's store brand yogurt-you just need to bring the ad. I also love that I can download my scrapbooking photos right from my computer to theirs, and then they will print them for me. I can either have them mailed right to my door, or I can pick them up while I shop. No more having to show up with a disk and trying to figure out a printing machine! Yea! They will ad match prices for picture printing as well! Have fun!-Jennyz

Our Wal-Mart posts the competitors ads at the front of the store and then marks their prices at least .01 below the competitions price. Pretty cool eh? I just assumed they did that in every store. Such a sheltered life I lead up here in the north.
