Default Camping is the best thing to do with the family!

We have the best time camping together as a family! The bike rides, walking trails, swimming, fishing, playing outdoor games, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. We get to actually talk to each other and spend quality time together.... That's the most special time of all just being together!

Talking Every child should be taken camping(IMHO)

We love to camp and fish. We spent 4 days over Memorial Day Wknd primitive camping(no campers/running water/bathrooms). The good old fashioned:tents, sleeping bags, camp fires and bottled/jugs of water and the outhouse. My boys love that break from ELECTRICITY and we don't have to worry about other people interupting our family time. And no camping trip is complete without roasting a weiner on a stick and making smores by the campfire. I can't wait for our next wknd. getaway!

Default Camping

I would love to take my kids camping but as a single mother most of the time due to my husbands job I am unable to camp. I have thought about just putting the tent up in the back yard for a night or two.

Oh, they would love just putting it up in the backyard. I have a small one that I just put in the living room...and I tell you, the fun is for HOURS!

Wish we could REALLY go camping...but in FL there are like 2 days of the year that it would be nice weather to go!
