A really cool website is craigslist. Like freecycle, you can sign up in your city or area and it is like a yellow pages/newspaper/helpwanted/freebies/etc. all in one site, suited to your area. I found my last job on craigslist! There is also a personals heading, apartments and houses to rent or for sale, weather in your area, you name it, it is on craiglist!

LOL you must have clicked on the wrong link at craiglist...

there is a section or sections for advertising/selling/garage sales and that type of stuff.you just have to look around for the right link to click on..Its not like freecycle though..its quiet different but you can get info on the areas around you!!!
