We got to the public library to get books for pleasure as well as school. But we also get our videos and DVDs there. We can check out 4 at a time and keep them for a week. Our library has a pretty extensive movie area so we save money by visiting them instead of renting. Love that!
They also have a library sale twice a month where they sell older books and videos. This has saved us a lot of money as I homeschool and buy books to enhance our units for .25 - .50 apiece. Yeah!!!!
Yes! The public libraries are an excellent source for all kinds of fun for children and adults alike! Movies, DVDs, music - even the internet if you don't have it at home. My children love books and movies so the library is one of their favorite places to go!
My daughter loves going to "Library School" as she calls it. The summer reading programs are wonderful! They keep her entertained and excited about reading! What's not to love?
The library is one of our most favorite places. Our library has a used book sale every Saturday and every second Tuesday. They also have a Jazz coffee hour one Friday night a month. It's so nice there we joke about moving in.
