Ask your child...Why do you have to go to school?

Here are the answers provided by my 3 sons:


Logan (7, 2nd grade): "Because I have to learn so that I am smart."



Braden(5, K): "Because I need to learn so I can be better at reading and coloring and staying in my lines. I need to work hard, hard and hard on studying."


Kayden(3, Pre): "Because I want to with my lunchbox."


**Mom's note** WOW! I must say, I was suprised that my middle son had so much to say about school. I asked each of them individually, so it wasn't like they heard eachothers' answers.

I asked my 9 year old daughter, Jordyn, this question. She replied that she goes to school to learn and read books. She also said that going to school gives her an education so she can go to college and get a good job one day. ( I hope she stays with this outlook!) She also enjoys making new friends and meeting new people.

Kyra, age 5 said, "To learn to be smart, kids love to play in recess because they love to have fun and eat all of your lunch to be healthy and smart".

hope age 10 going into 6th grade
"to learn and to get a job and to have fun"

georgia age 3 goes to daycare( that I work at)
"because you work there and I play blocks"

My 10 yr old grandson, Lonnie , said because his mom makes him go. But he loves to learn.....just dont tell mom. haha

Jakob my 3 year old says we go to school "so I can read train books. Fast train books." yeah he's been a train lover and connoisseur since birth.
