Default Reading books

My 10 year old DD is really enjoying reading this summer... She's been reading Beverly Lewis' Holly's Heart Series:
Holly's Heart series
Holly's Heart books are fun and captivating stories for early teen readers. Holly is just about to turn thirteen and she has a lot going on in her life. She's learning to adjust to living in a one parent home, dealing with an absent father and moving into a blended family—all while figuring out how to depend on her faith to help her though all the challenges of contemporary teen life. Appealing to both parents and teens alike, these are stories that early teen girls will love. For ages 11-14. (These can be read in any order.)

1. Best Friend, Worst Enemy
2. Secret Summer Dreams
3. Sealed With a Kiss
4. The Trouble With Weddings
5. California Crazy
6. Second-Best Friend
7. Good-Bye, Dressel Hills

8. Straight-A Teacher
9. No Guys Pact
10. Little White Lies
11. Freshman Frenzy
12. Mystery Letters
13. Eight is Enough
14. It's a Girl Thing

Default Reading is important!

Thank you for listing these books. It's important that the kids are enjoying the book they are reading or else it seems like school work!

Our local Library has a Summer Reading Program and my kids do it every year. My youngest just loves to read.
