Talking Have a color-coded picnic!!

During my 5 year stint as an in-home child care provider, I decided to have a green picnic to help my children remember the color green. It was a blast! We had green grapes, (sliced of course) broccoli, green apple slices, kiwi, honeydew melon and of course we sang the "Fruit Salad" song from the Wiggles. Yummy, yummy

Did you do other colors as well?
this just got me thinking: red could use apples, watermelon, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, tomatoes (or even grape- or cherry-tomatoes). what fun!
