Default Friendly advice

I too have a six year old son and have learned when he acts out a lot of time it is because he is lacking something (usually my attention). I know all children are different and I am no expert by far, but I have learned by me having a "special day" with my son that it sometimes helps a little when he goes through an episode of "acting out". I too have tried taking away all of the toys etc. and the has not helped. I have learned that sometimes a big hug and I love you, what's going on with you today goes a long way. I try to make him work and look forward to something he likes to do. Even if it is an extra 15 minutes at the playground. Good luck and God Bless.
