Gorgonzola Potatoes with Ham
Gorgonzola Potatoes
Ingredients 3/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese 1 and 1/2 cups jarred alfredo sauce, lighter version if you can find that variety 1 (20-ounce) package refrigerated homestyle sliced potatoes 1/4 cup French-fried onions 1/8 teaspoon pepper Precooked ham slice, heated up Combine all ingredients except ham. Cover and microwave on HIGH 10 minutes, stirring once, or until potatoes are tender. If you prefer, you can heat on the stovetop for 20 to 25 minutes, but just be sure to watch it carefully and stir often so it doesn't burn. Serve with ham on the side (or you can julienne some of the ham and add that at the last minute to the casserole if you'd prefer). Note: For an elegant finish, place in oven-proof serving dish, top with more French-fried onions, and broil 3–5 minutes or until golden. |
